A mother holding her baby and smiling

Hi there, I’m Alyson!

I’m the creator and writer behind Practical Little Life.

As a stay-at-home mom with a passion for cooking and minimalism, I started this blog as a way to share my experiences and connect with other like-minded individuals.

My journey towards minimalism began after I became a mom, and I realized how much unnecessary clutter and material possessions we had accumulated over time. I learned that by simplifying our lives and focusing on what truly matters, we can create a more peaceful and fulfilling existence.

Cooking has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and flavors. As a mom, I’ve discovered the joys of cooking stress free and delicious meals for my family, and I’m excited to share my recipes and tips with you. I’m also exploring container gardening as a way to bring more fresh produce into my home. While I may not have a lot of outdoor space right now, I’m determined to make the most of what I have!

Above all, Practical Little Life is a nonjudgmental community that welcomes everyone. Whether you’re a new mom trying to navigate motherhood, a minimalist looking to simplify your life, or simply someone who loves to cook and garden, I’m glad you’re here. Let’s learn and grow together!
